GOMEL, 6 May (BelTA) – An Iranian delegation led by Minister of Industry and Mines of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ali Akbar Mehrabyan is set to visit the Gomel Oblast on 7 May. The delegation will include representatives of the Iranian business circles and the embassy, BelTA learnt from the foreign economic department of the economy committee of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee.
The Iranian guests are to visit Svetlogorsk, Rechitsa, Vetka, Zhlobin and Gomel.
In Svetlogorsk they will solemnly launch the construction of a shopping and community center financed by the Didas company. In Rechitsa a line producing copper wire rod will be started.
The Iranian delegation is to meet with top executives of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee; an investment agreement will be signed with the Azarab company to construct a cement factory in the Vetka Region. After that, the delegation will tour the future construction site and lay a foundation stone there.
The Iranian delegation is also set to visit Belarus Steel Works in Zhlobin.
