Minsk to host BRSM Youth Union Congress 9 December
MINSK, 9 December (BelTA) – Over 1,000 young people from all Belarusian regions are expected to take part in the 41st Congress of the Belarusian National Youth Union (BRSM) in Minsk on 9 December, BelTA has learnt.
The Minsk Palace of Sports will make a platform of innovation ideas and projects of the Belarusian youth.
The event will include the election of a new composition of the BRSM Central Committee and the Central Watchdog Committee. The second day of the congress will be attended by heads of the national governmental bodies, local authorities, public associations, foreign guests.
The Belarusian National Youth Union was created on 6 September 2002. It unites over 480,000 young people. The organization promotes patriotic education of young people, helps find a job, partakes in the formation and implementation of the youth policy.
